Crestone Bakery is named after the Crestones in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range in Colorado. The Crestones are four peaks over 14,000 feet above sea level (14ers). They tower over the San Luis Valley to the west where farmers grow a wide variety of crops in a high alpine ecosystem. The town of Crestone, Colorado is close by with an abudance of beautiful views, spiritual centers, and great hikes with lots of peace and quiet.
We want to capture the spirit of the Crestone area by empowering our associates to produce delicious gluten-free foods with as small of a carbon footprint as we possibly can.
